Well I have this one down thanks to love and logic! All day everyday I ask G man`s opinion on a lot of different things. The one thing I have learned is that if you don`t want it or if you aren't going to follow through after asking their opinion it WILL back fire!!!!
Love and logic talks about a bank account, you make deposits by letting them make choices and asking their opinion. When you need to make a withdrawl you can because you have some deposits built up. An example of a withdrawl would be like when the adults are picking what is for dinner and McDonalds is out of the question. This happened today G man wanted Mcdonalds and my husband's family was down for Easter and we weren't going to eat fast food! I simply reminded him that her got to pick what we had for breakfast, what clothes he was wearing, which basket he was going to use in the egg hunt, and who he was going to ride with to the egg hunt. After reminding him of all his choices I told him that it was our turn to choose something and he was okay with that!
