Boy interrupted!

Day 24: Do not interrupt your child when he/she is talking.

Well this one was hard, I am the worst at interrupting everyone!!!  I always cut people off and finish their sentences. I am the worse with G man!!  I get impatient when G man is trying to say something and is having trouble, because he is four, and I finish his sentences for him. Today I didn't do that!!!  I caught myself  trying to A LOT today but restrained!!  I wore a small bracelet today (which I never do) and every time I looked at it today I remembered to not interrupt G man!!!  Then I noticed that when he was having trouble trying to say things he would just ask me, "how do I say it?" This made our conversations better because he was able to control his part of the conversation and knew when to ask for help.

G man has always been extra curious and imaginative but today he really cut loose.  He had so much more freedom to talk and tell me extra details because he wasn't being interrupted.  He has an imaginary transformer that follows us around named Hot Shot.  Today I learned a lot about Hot Shot and what all G man and him like to do together.  I got to play and run around the house with Hot Shot and G man today then we all had to take a huge rest and Hot Shot had to have his tires fixed!!!  I love that boy and his awesome personality!
