What makes a daddy...

Recipe for a good Daddy...

1. Have to be willing to jump around and act crazy to avoid getting shot by lasers.

2. Look cool with your kids

3. Be willing to fight in the matrix if need be!

4. Read to kids.

5. Be able to be a comfortable bed for a nap if needed.

6. Be silly and loving at the same time!

7. Can't be afraid to get a little dirty!

8. Always willing to share!

9. Be prepared for shopping trips!

10. Understand that we don't like to share you... even with cousins!

11. Able to be the joker as well as take a joke!!

12. Prepare for your life to change in an instant! 

13. Take all the loves when you can get them!!

14. Love the mommy at all times!!! Happy wife happy life!!!

Day 24: Silly face!

These pictures are from about a month ago but nothing we could do would top this moment!  G man has been taken off of red dye 40 because of the way his body processes it.  He gets out of control and gets frustrated as well as frustrating those around him!!  He has been dye free for a little over a month now and is doing WONDERFUL!!!  I am so excited that this change has helped him!  He does so much better in uncomfortable situations.  Which brings me to the day these pictures were taken:

We were waiting in the room for the Doctor to come and then get shots and for this first time G man came up to me and told me he was bored.  This is significant since before he would have just started acting like a crazy man!!  So my solution was to do this....

Day 23: Chalk

I have been waiting and waiting for this one!!!  I had a lot of ideas and then let G man pick some that he wanted to do and we went out and did them!  This one is the one he found on Google search that he wanted me to draw for him!!!

I of course talked him out of it!!!  I can't draw this!!!  But isn't it amazing!

Update on my weight loss and weight watchers!  I am honored to be in my brother's and his beautiful fiance's wedding in July.  We had our dress fittings last week and I had lost about 2 in. and will have to have it taken in!!!!!!!!  So then I got brave and decided to weigh a little early and was excited to see that I have lost 15.2 pounds!  Still have a way to go but am very excited about this promising start!  I will also be riding in a 10/5 mile bike ride for the awesome ministry I work for!  If you are in the area this weekend come see us and ride with us!! There are different courses so you can pick the length that fits you from 62 miles to 1 mile fun walk/run!!  Food, face painting, and fun for the entire family!!  Click here for more info!!

Day 21: Swimming FINALLY!!!

Well we finally got to go swimming! Frontier City has added a new water area and the kiddos LOVED it!!  There are 8 water slides and 3 of them intended for young-ens... G man  loved all 3 of them!

Little miss found the perfect spot for her!  No face splashes and just enough water to play and run it!

Day 22: Hands

Day 20: Feet... I know this isn't what the list says day 20 should be.  Are you ready for my excuses??  Well I don't have one!!!  Feet are on the list and today presented a PERFECT example of feet that I never expected so I am going rogue from the list I created and doing feet today!!

Well here in Oklahoma during the summer month of June we have had sweater wearing cool weather and rain!!!  It has been cool and refreshing today and in the middle of the rain my crazy kids run down the sidewalk and then run back to the dry part just to see their feet prints!!

This is G man's foot!

Here are both of them and you can tell they were trying to look behind them and see the prints they made so they started to walk in circles!

Here we have Little miss' and G man's side by side!!!  I love these crazy rainy days and the unexpected joys they bring!!!

3 day catch up!!

Wow so here goes the last 3 days that I missed all in one blog post!!

Day 17: Comforts

G man has always played with his ears while he drinks.  When I nursed him I played with his ear and I guess it stuck with him!  He has done this with his bottle, sippy cup, and even a regular cup!!

Little miss' comfort is her binky!  She loves them and always has an extra one with her!!

Day 18: Siblings

We have been very luck so far because our kids LOVE to play together!  That is my biggest gripe at the end  of the day!!!!!!!!!  They play together all day and they are loud and they wrestle and they leave huge messes together!!  I feel like I am trying to contain a home full of monkeys and it is just 2 sweet siblings playing together!  They hug each other and smother one another with kisses!  Who can complain about that??  When Little miss was first born she was premature and needed breathing treatments and a lot of love!  When she came home and people would come over to see us G man would hover around them and tell them how to hold her the "right" way!!  He is still as protective!

This picture was when Little miss was only 2 months old and this was her first smile.  Any time I would try and take her picture or do something with just her G man would photo bomb the picture and she thought it was so funny!!

Here we go again at 6 months old brother is right there by her side!!

And most recent he even plays baby dolls with her when she wants!!!  Don't be fooled by her baby doll and her dress though because more times then naught they are playing hotwheels and transformers!!

Don't they just look rotten together!!!

Day 19: Outdoor fun!

These crazy kids LOVE to play outside!  They love going to the park and climbing and jumping.  Their favorite thing to do is to play in the water in the front yard!  We have automatic sprinklers on our campus and the kids and I love to run through them together!!!  Little miss is getting ready to jump in a puddle in her picture and the 2 of G man were at a park we got to go to for the first time and this park had some awesome climbing toys!!
